LAKEPORT >> Willits pounded out a 15-10 North Central League I junior varsity baseball win over the Clear Lake Cardinals on Wednesday afternoon in Lakeport.
“We made too many error and left too many men on base,” Clear Lake coach Ed Pepper said. “It was pretty tough to swallow.”
Ryan Ollenberger went 3-for-5 for Clear Lake, now 1-2 in league play, while Colby Krul and Andrew Tramble added two hits apiece. Quinn Wynacht went 1-fo-3 with two walks and losing pitcher Jesus Ceja went 1-for-5 wit a double.
The Cardinals are on the road next week as they visit St. Helena on Tuesday and Kelseyville on Friday.
