LAKE COUNTY >> Serving as Executive Director for 13 years, Shelby Posada is stepping up to a new role as Vice President and Barbara Clark will assume the position as the new Executive Director at the Lake County Arts Council.
Posada has been instrumental in many successful policies over the years, including obtaining grants to keep the Arts Council, the Main Street Gallery and the Soper Reese Theatre operational. During her tenure, Posada’s primary goal has been to “connect the arts to the community,” with a special focus on business, tourism, and education.
Clark brings an added platform to the Arts Council. She is a well-known and respected actor in Lake County and is also a singer and performer with My Divas. With these multiple artist talents and her business acumen, Clark will add new energy and dimension to the Lake County Arts Council’s outreach to the community.
As the Lake County Arts Council moves forward, the Council urges the public to observe that “art is everywhere.”
