The first Rummy Skull Crusher Obstacle Course and Mud Run took place Saturday in Lakeport and was a smashing, sweating, muddy and bloody success for its over 120 participants. The event was a fundraiser — with more than $4k raised so far — honoring the memory of Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy Rob Rumfelt, who also coached football at Clear Lake High School.
