LUCERNE >> The Committee to Elect EJ Crandell for District 3 County Supervisor announced the opening of a Campaign Headquarters Office at 6030 East Highway 20 in Lucerne, Crandell’s hometown.
The first day of operation is today, April 28. The doors will open at 10 a.m., and the public is invited to drop by, enjoy a snack and visit with the candidate.
“District 3 is a big district with [five] communities situated along Highway 20 and [three] in off-highway locations. I’m making my way to all the areas of the District but also want to be accessible to anyone who wants to reach me in a casual setting to discuss their concerns, expectations, and hopes,” said Crandell.
Beginning next week, the office will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 11 a.m. Office volunteers will take appointments for anyone who wishes to meet with Crandell on a different date.
Crandell said Lucerne’s centralized location within the District seemed to be a good choice, with many people from throughout the District driving through on a fairly regular basis.
“I want to interact with as many people as possible, and not everyone can attend a meet and greet or a forum. The office will be a place where we can have more time to discuss a broader range of issues in more depth,” Crandell said.
