LAKEPORT >> Many of the top professional bass fishermen on the West Coast are entered in the three-day-long Costa FLW Series Western Division pro/am bass tournament, which opens Thursday and runs through Saturday on Clear Lake.
Tournament headquarters is Konocti Vista Casino, Resort and Marina just outside of Lakeport. Weigh-ins begin at 2:30 p.m. each day.
More than 100 boats are expected to be in the field. Each boat will hold one professional and one amateur. There is a five-fish limit per person per day.
The entire field fishes on Thursday and Friday. Saturday’s final round will be cut to the top 10 professionals and top 10 amateurs.
