LAKEPORT >> Konocti Vista Casino Resort is hosting its annual antique wood boat and classic car show, Wood and Glory XX, on Saturday, June 2 at the casino resort. This is event is free to enter and open to the public for viewing.

The classic cars, filling the parking area of the casino, will be joined by a fleet of antique, wooden boats in Konocti Vista Casino Resort’s private marina. Featuring the No Name Car Club, the car show will be open for browsing from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and the boat show will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is no fee for car participants, however, the No Name Car Club will be accepting donations.

Operation Tango Mike, an organization with a mission to send support and care packages to troops while supporting their families, will hold a Pancake Feed in the casino banquet room from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., during the Wood and Glory XX event. All food for the breakfast will be donated by Konocti Vista Casino Resort and all proceeds will go to Operation Tango Mike.

To add to the excitement of the car and boat show, Konocti Vista Casino Resort is hosting the band, the Tattooed Cherries, that will provide live music throughout the event. There will also be a barbeque and full bar available outside in the casino parking lot during Wood and Glory XIX.

Konocti Vista Casino is also sponsoring a trophy for the Kelseyville High School Model Car Contest, which will be presented during this event.
