COLUSA >> On Wednesday afternoon, firefighters responded to a vegetation fire in the community of Stonyford in Colusa County.

Firefighters arrived just after 1 p.m. at the scene of the Stoney Fire, located on the 2600 block of Lodoga Stonyford Rd., northeast of Bartlett Springs in Lake County.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the blaze had reached 50 acres, with a moderate rate of spread according to scanner reports.

Cal Fire said there was no threat to structures as of Wednesday at 2 p.m.

By that time, a total of 10 engines, two fire crews, four dozers, two helicopters and six air tankers were on scene.
