Though Lakeport resident Tim rode solo in his U.S.S. Quacken boat on Wednesday, he was soon well-accompanied by some familiar friends during the 12th Annual Cardboard and Duct Tape Regatta. The event takes place every July 4 in Clear Lake by the First Street launch ramp in Lakeport. All boats are from only cardboard and duct tape. This year, only one out of eight sank.
