Two more local businesses held ribbon-cutting ceremonies Thursday to celebrate their service to the public in Lake County. The ceremony at Big 5 Sporting Goods saw members on the Lakeport Chamber of Commerce, the Clearlake Rotary Club, and Southshore youth sports among the groups present. Pictured cutting the ribbon is store manager Michael Ballew-Miller. Also on hand were Clearlake City Manager Greg Folsom and members of the business community including Clay Godbout. A ribbon cutting was also held at Fast Track Oil Change Inc. in Middletown. located at 21016 S. Highway 29. Owner Palani Velloo and his wife Sandra. Also on hand for the ceremony were Lakeport Chamber, members of Flaters Energy and friends of the Velloos.
