
LAKEPORT— On Oct. 20, the Courthouse Park on Main St, Lakeport, will be abuzz with creativity. From 1 to 4 p.m., the public is invited to partake in a variety of hands-on creative projects. Participants can choose from several options including painting, seed mosaics, crafting and more. Activities are suitable for children ages 6 and up.
This free event is the brainchild of Charlie Adams, age 17 of Lakeport. Adams, a member of Lakeport’s Blue Heron 4-H Club, is coordinating the event in partnership with Lake County Arts Council and Lake County 4-H Clubs as part of his All Star Project. The 4-H All Star is the highest county award recognizing the achievements of active 4-H members and providing opportunities for leadership, career & life planning.
