LAKE COUNTY — The Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for California Fire Lawyers.

City Manager Greg Folsom, City Mayor Bruno Sabatier and Lake County Superintendent of Schools Brock Falkenberg, among other community leaders, fire victims, friends and family gathered to celebrate the opening of California Fire Lawyers at 14340 Lakeshore Dr. in Clearlake.

Mayor Bruno Sabatier had this to say: “It is always a positive moment in our city when a new business chooses to call Clearlake home. California Fire Lawyers is a great addition to our community especially as we continue to recover from the tragedies of the past few years.”

Superintendent Falkenberg said: “It’s nice when a local High School Graduate comes home and opens a successful business in our community.”

Fire victim Denise Ogle who has received help from Matt Huffman of California Fire Lawyers after her house was consumed by the Pawnee says:  “He really helped me get through a hard time.”  Since there was no defendant named in the Pawnee fire, Matt had to use some creative methods to help Denise.  California Fire Lawyers have issued gift cards to Denise and are currently coordinating with local charities to assist our community in the long rebuilding process.

California Fire Lawyers is involved in community youth programs. They have donated thousands of dollars to our high school sports teams, and our Grad Night Program. California Fire Lawyers show that they are serious about helping our community.
