COBB — Mark Meadows of Kelseyville holed out a 9-iron on the 155-yard par-3 seventh hole on Sunday at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain.

It was Meadows’ first hole-in-one. He was playing in the Adams Springs Better Ball Tournament and his playing partners were Leonard Lea, Joe Cardozo and Mitchell Webb.

Wrestling club sign-ups

LAKEPORT — The Lake County Wrestling Club is holding sign-ups for the upcoming 2018-19 season on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 808 Bevins St., No. 8, in Lakeport.

Boys and girls in kindergarten through the 12th grade, regardless of skill level, are welcome to participate.

Orange ball tourney

HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE — Members of the Hidden Valley Lake 40-9ers Women’s Golf Club played an orange ball tournament on Thursday at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course.

The first-place team consisted of Adele Curtin, Mariana Bendinelli and Rebecca Cabral. Second place went to the threesome of Linda Millard, Elaine Fauser and Denyse McCracken.

Tennis league play

KELSEYVILLE — The Konocti Junior Tennis League will meet Saturdays from 11 a.m. to noon at the Gard Street tennis courts in Kelseyville.

Free lessons are provided for beginners and intermediate players age 8-18. Players should bring their own drinking water. Racquets are provided.
