KELSEYVILLE— On October 29, 2018, Habitat for Humanity Lake County held their annual benefit dinner at the Saw Shop Bistro in Kelseyville. Produced by Marie Berry and Saw Shop for the 17th straight year, organizers said the event proves the dedication and support Berry has for our communities in Lake County. Grocery Outlet, Foods Etc, WestAmerica Bank, and Sutter Lakeside Hospital were the sponsors of this year’s sell-out event which raised nearly $20,000. All funds raised this year will go directly into providing homes for families displaced by the Lake County wildfires. Habitat for Humanity Lake County and event organizers said they are grateful to the sponsors, to the dedicated Saw Shop staff, and to everyone who made this year’s dinner a success. They extended a special thank you goes out to Steele Winery, Mt. Konocti Winery, and Gregory Graham Estate Winery for the donation of wine for this year’s event.
Organizers added that If residents would like to donate to Habitat for Humanity’s Wildfire Recovery Fund, they may do so with a credit card on the organization’s website at www.lakehabitat.org/donate, by contacting Savings Bank of Mendocino, or by mail to Habitat for Humanity Lake County, PO Box 1830, Lower Lake CA 95457.
