Lake County Democratic Club
Lake County Democratic Club will meet at 6:30 on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, in Lower Lake. With the Midterm Elections behind us, we will review election results. Also, the club will begin planning for 2019 activities.
The Lake County Democratic Club meets every 2nd Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Social Hall of the United Methodist Church, 16255 2nd Street, Lower Lake. All meetings are open to the public. Membership is open to registered Democrats and dues are $20/annually. Lake County Democratic Club is an officially chartered club of the Democratic Party of Lake County. Lake County Board of Supervisors meeting Nov. 6
The Lake County Board of Supervisor will meet on Nov. 6 for a regularly scheduled meeting at 9 a.m. in the board chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street in Lakeport. On the agenda is a proclamation commending Jill Shaul for her years of service to the county, the awarding of a contract to conduct the county’s comprehensive classification and total compensation study in the amount of $100,000, the adoption of a resolution appointing directors of certain special district boards in lieu of holding a General District election on Nov. 6, and approval of the Fiscal Year 2018 Emergency Management Grant application of $138,133, among other items of interest to the community.

Lucerne Town Hall to be held Nov. 14
The next meeting of the Lucerne Town Hall Council will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Lucerne Senior Center on Country Club Dr. Sheriff Brian Martin has accepted an invitation to speak at the meeting and to address citizen concerns about safety and response time for calls made to the Sheriffs department. All interested Lucerne citizens are encouraged to attend this meeting. If time allows other agenda items will be discussed.
