LAKEPORT — Donovan Valadez scored 17 points and Evan Coakley added 16 as the Clear Lake High School junior varsity boys basketball team beat Ukiah 62-37 in a North Coast Section Foundation Game on Tuesday evening in Lakeport.
Foundation Games, which raise money for NCS athletic scholarships, do not count in the standings but are simply exhibitions.
Clear Lake dominated the game from the start at led 17-4 after one quarter. The Cardinals increased their lead the rest of the way. It was 34-13 at halftime and 49-26 after three quarters.
