LAKE COUNTY
Auditions for ‘Red, White, and Tuna’
The Lake County Theatre Company is pleased to announce auditions for “Red, White, and Tuna,” the sequel to “Greater Tuna,” and “A Tuna Christmas,” which LCTC produced in 2007 and 2015, respectively.
The trilogy takes place in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas and is a farcical, yet endearing, comical commentary on small town southern life. All 20 eccentric characters, of both genders and a range of ages, are played by only two actors.
Those interested in auditioning should be comfortable with quick costume changes, line memorization, and capable of using a variety of voices with multiple characters. Auditions will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at the home of director, Randy Hare, 3609 Deertrail Rd. in Clearlake. A second audition will be on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at the United Christian Parish Church, 745 N. Brush Street in Lakeport. There is no need to prepare anything for the audition. Performance dates for “Red, White, and Tuna” are April 26-May 12. For more information, contact Laura Barnes at 707-533-3406.

Healdsburg Center for the Arts Calls for artists for exhibit
The word “Animalia” evokes images of all animals; birds, bugs, reptiles, furry friends and pets, fish and fowl. It brings to mind all the wild and wonderful ways that “Animalia” have been an integral and essential part our human experience….archetypal animals, totemic animals, whimsical and sacred, silly and wise. Since the beginning humans have depended on animals for survival but have also relied on and trusted them as muses, guides and teachers.
