LAKE COUNTY — Lake County Elite Wrestling standout Carter Rudolph won all seven of his matches as a member of the Cali Gold duals team during the recent Upper Valley Aces Duals in Idaho.
Rudolph not only won the 115-pound heavyweight division, but he helped Cali Gold go undefeated during the two-day tournament, which was limited to wrestlers in the sixth grade or lower.
Rudolph’s success in Idaho follows his first-place finish in October at the SCWAY World Challenge in Clovis. Rudolph dominated the 10-and-under bracket, going 4-0 in the 130-pound division.
Next up for Lake County Elite is the Oakdale Jr. Classic as the travel team gears up for the folkstyle season.
