Donations for the Lake County Holiday Fund are still being accepted at any branch of WestAmerica Bank or Umpqua Bank. These donations are used to provide boxes of food for the holidays to families in need locally.
Checks should be written to the Lake County Holiday Fund.
Cooperating agencies that make this program possible are Lake County Publishing, Lakeport Rotary, Lake Family Resource Center, NCO Community Action Agency, Foods, Etc., Bruno’s Shop Smart, Clearlake Grocery Outlet, WestAmerica Bank, Umpqua Bank, and the Lake County Hunger Task Force. Donations are tax deductible.
The Lake County Record Bee will continue to print the names of donors, if desired, and any dedications they wish to express.
The boxes are typically distributed before the holidays.
