County releases committee vacancies

LAKE COUNTY — The following is a list of upcoming vacancies on County of Lake advisory boards and commissions, courtesy Carolyn Purdy, Assistant Clerk of the board of supervisors:

• Animal Control Advisory Board: Two (4) vacancies – Supervisorial Districts 2, 3 & 5 and Member-at-Large
• Big Valley Groundwater Management Zone Commission: Seven (7) vacancies – one (1) Member-at-Large, four (4) Agriculture Users category, and two (2) Water District category
• Building Board of Appeals: Five (5) vacancies – one (1) representative from each Supervisorial District
• Child Care Planning and Development Council: Seven (7) vacancies – two (2) Consumer, one (1) Public Agency, one (1) Community Representative, two (2) Discretionary Appointee, and one (1) Child Care Provider
• Countywide Parks and Recreation Advisory Board: Five (5) vacancies – one (1) representative from each Supervisorial District
• East Region 3 Town Hall: Two (2) vacancies – one (1) member of Spring Valley Property Owners Association, and one (1) member of Clearlake Oaks Keys Property Owners Association
• Emergency Medical Care Committee: Twenty (20) vacancies – one (1) Community College District, one (1) California Highway Patrol Representative, four (4) Consumer Interested Group, two (2) Emergency Affiliated Medical Care Coordinator, two (2) EMT Representative, one (1) Paramedic one (1) Private Ambulance Company, one (1) Sheriff’s Department Representative, five (5) Fire Department, and one (1) Redbud Hospital, and one (1) Sutter-Lakeside Hospital.
• Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee: Twelve (12) Vacancies – five (5) Supervisorial Districts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5,  one (1) Agriculture, one (1) Education, one (1) Land Conservation Organization, one (1) Ex-Officio Member, one (1) Recreation Industry, two (2) Fish and Wildlife Conservation
• Hartley Cemetery District: Three (3) vacancies – General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)
• Heritage Commission: Seven (7) vacancies – one (1) representative from each Supervisorial District, and two (2) Member-at-Large
• In Home Support Services Public Authority Advisory Committee: Seven (7) vacancies – four (4) Senior Consumer, one (1) Disabled Community Representative, one (1) Senior Community Rep. and one (1) Provider
• Kelseyville Cemetery District:  One (1) vacancy – General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)
• Lakeport Fire Protection District:  One (1) vacancy – Board of Directors (BOS appointees to this Board must be a resident of the District, live outside the Lakeport City Limits and be registered to vote in Lake County)
• Law Library Board of Trustees: Two (2) vacancies – one (1) BOS and one (1) Public Member
• Library Advisory Board:  Five (5) vacancies – one (1) representative from each Supervisorial District
• Lower Lake Waterworks District One Board of Directors:  Five (5) vacancies – Public Member
• Lucerne Area Town Hall (LATH):  Five (5) vacancies – Public Member
• Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Advisory Board: Seven (7) vacancies – General Membership
• Mental Health Board: Four (4) vacancies – two (2) Member-at-Large, and one (1) Consumer and one (1) Consumer Family Member of a Past/Present Consumer
• Middletown Cemetery District:  three (3) vacancies – General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)
• North Bay Cooperative Library Advisory Board: One (1) vacancy – Lake County Representative
• Public Defender Oversight Committee: Three (3) vacancies – two (2) Members of the General Public, one (1) Attorney
• Scott’s Valley Community Advisory Board:  Five (5) vacancies – Members at Large
• Section 8 Resident Advisory Board: Seven (7) vacancies – General Membership
• Solid Waste Appeals Panel: Two (2) vacancies – one (1) Public Member and One (1) Technical Expert
• Solid Waste Task Force: One (2) vacancies – one (1) Public Representative and one (1) Other
• Spring Valley CSA #2 Advisory Board:  Seven vacancies (7) – Members at Large
• Upper Lake Cemetery District: One (1) vacancy – General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)
