Editor’s note: The Jan. 3 article with the headline “Town hall to discuss Dollar General” stated that the Western Region Town Hall meets every second Friday. The schedule has changed, and the town hall now meets on the third Wednesday of every month.
The same article stated incorrectly that two Dollar General stores exist in Lake County. There are three stores in the county—one in Clearlake Oaks, one in Lakeport, and one in Nice.
The Dec. 22, 2018 article with the headline “FBI checks jail phone ‘scam’” stated incorrectly that Lake Indigent Defense was the law firm hired under Lake County’s public defense services contract at the time of a grand jury investigation into illegal jail phone use. The firm then under contract with the county was Lake Defense, Inc.
