LOWER LAKE— In the past few years Lake County has shouldered an inordinate amount of trauma. The recent fires have left their mark, in the deforestation of our beautiful landscapes, the loss of our communities, and deeper personal losses. In a small way, Fults Family Vineyards (FFV) would like to help bring restoration to our county.
FFV believes that art is an important part of the healing process, and seeks local artists to submit works that symbolize the fires that have ravaged our county and represent the restoration of our community. Our customers will vote on the submitted art. The top voted piece will be featured on the label of FFV’s red blend, Wildfire, and awarded a $400 prize or a case of FFV wine for $1. A portion of the sales from the Wildfire blend will be donated to Lake County fire protective services or restoration programs.
Art is limited to the first 20 submissions and should be presented on and 8 1/2″x 11″ canvas, either framed or unframed. Deadline for submission is March 1, 2019.
