VACAVILLE — The Dancer brothers, Aidan and Silas, were dancing on Sunday during the Vacaville Massacre youth wrestling tournament.
Nine members of the Golden State Wrestling Club of Upper Lake participated in the event and eight brought home medals or trophies. Aidan and Silas Dancer both came in first while Jace van der Weken finished second.
Third-place medals went to Samantha Van der Weken, David Van der Weken, Ross Van der Weken, Phoenix Fernandez and Gabriela Navarro.
Golden State Wrestling Club members return to action this coming Sunday at the Enter the Den tournament at Ukiah High School. The event is a Tournament of Champions qualifier and is open to wrestlers, both boys and girls, from kindergarten through the eighth grade. Medals go to the top three finishers in each weight class. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. and runs all day.
General admission is $5. Children younger than 12 are admitted free.
