ROCKLIN >> Twelve members of the CORE Wrestling Club of Lower Lake attended the GB Grapplers State Prep tournament on Sunday in Rocklin and they combined to bring home nine medals.
Winning their weight classes were Mason Fuchs (bantam), Amari Carr (bantam), Jesse Saldana-Rivera (bantam), Trey Thurman (intermediate), Nick Celli (middle school) and Adam Viramontes (middle school).
Earning a second-place medal was Dylan Neuharth (novice). Third-place medals went to Gerardo Rodriguez (intermediate) and Jayden Roath (middle school).
Other top finishers were Deegan Clark (fourth), Manny Garcia (fifth) and Liberty Fuchs (sixth).
Ten members of the CORE Wrestling Club hit the road this weekend to compete in the Rumble in Reno.
