The father-son team of Jeff and Darren Soo Hoo of Concord weighed in a 10-fish limit of 22.32 pounds to win the Clear Lake Crappie Association team tournament held Saturday on Clear Lake. They said they caught their fish near Rattlesnake Island using crappie jigs. The big fish of the tournament weighed 2.69 pounds and was caught by the team of Scott Gaughier and Ed Cantrell. The tournament drew 32 teams and most caught fish. The next crappie derby is scheduled for March 30 and will go out of Redbud Park in Clearlake. (Photo by Terry Knight – Lake County Publishing)
