BUCKINGHAM — The inaugural Tango Mike Golf Benefit takes place March 30 at Buckingham Golf and Country Club.
The event, which is a senior project for Clear Lake High School golf team captain Jaden Bussard, was designed for him with the help of Buckingham PGA professionals Ted Mattila and Mark Wotherspoon. The local 4-H Club is also lending its assistance.
The entry fee of $80 includes a round of golf, a golf cart, lunch, prizes and entries into all of the side games, including a chance to win a new car with a hole-in-one. The 10-hole, all-par-3 tournament tees off at 9:30 a.m.
The tournament format and side games include best ball, scotch ball and scrambles. There will be a special Vegas holes, long drive and accuracy drive contests as well as an overall skins game.
All proceeds support Tango Mike, which sends care/comfort packages to U.S. military personnel serving abroad.
