ST. HELENA — Defending Coastal Mountain Conference tennis champion St. Helena shut out Kelseyville 5-0 in conference action Tuesday at St. Helena.
All five matches – three in singles, two in doubles – were decided in straight sets.
Justin Perez fell 6-1, 6-3 to Kellen Maher 6-1, 6-3 in first singles, Bodhi Baird dropped a 6-1, 7-5 decision to Holland Smith in second singles, and Allison Bryant lost to Ivan Rodriguez 6-2, 6-4 in third singles.
In doubles play, Dylan Vargas and Connor Molloy lost 6-0, 6-3 to Antoine Parr and Alex Sklan in No. 1 doubles, and Jeffrey Amendola and Hanna Scully fell 6-1, 6-0 to George Conwell and Diesel Chappellet in No. 2 doubles.
Weather permitting, Kelseyville plays Middletown on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Hidden Valley Lake courts.
