LAKEPORT— The Lakeport Unified School District will be considering Jacque Eischens as the new chief business officer for LUSD at the Wednesday March 27 board meeting beginning at 6 p.m.
The search for a new superintendent is also underway and will be discussed at Wednesday’s meeting. According to Pat Iaccino, interim superintendent, a panel consisting of teachers, community members, students and administrators will be interviewing the candidates in mid-April. Their recommendations will be forwarded to the board. The board will conduct final interviews and the new Superintendent should be announced at the April 24 board meeting.
A Measure T Bond Prioritization Committee will also be formed during this week’s meeting. The purpose of the committee is to prioritize which projects can still be completed with the remaining $2 million bond fund dollars. A change order for the Terrace Middle School Learning Resource Center bond fund project will be considered for change orders totaling approximately $4 million dollars.
The meeting will be held at the district office board room located at 2508 Howard Avenue, Lakeport at 6 p.m.
