CLEARLAKE— Don Jans, nationally acclaimed author and speaker, is coming to town. He will be the guest speaker April 10 at the Lake County Republican Women Federated (LCRWF) luncheon at Howard’s Grotto, Clearlake.

He will be speaking on “Two Roads Diverged” a topic which organizers said has deep meaning for all.

Jans is a lifelong student of history, with a special emphasis on Russian history. His study of Russian history led to 1917 which led Don to the study of the teachings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Don has written three books on the topic of Collectivism (Marxism, Communism, Socialism, Fascism, and Progressivism). The first book, “My Grandchildren’s America Will it Still be the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave,” outlines what Marx taught using Marx’s own words with explanations in simple and straightforward language.

“Goodbye, Constitution, Freedom, America” is written in the form of a novel that follows the life of an individual as he discovers how the United States, in the author’s opinion, is following the transformation Marx outlined and predicted. In this novel, the reader will understand how the American public has grown to accept the transformation as a part of ordinary daily life without realizing what is happening.

“The Road To Tyranny Individualism to Collectivism” defines individualism and collectivism while explaining the goals and values associated with each. Jans relates the principles and values upon which our nation was founded and how they conflate with the principles and values of collectivism. Also explained is how the collectivist is bringing about the change they desire by attacking the foundation upon which the Untied States was built and under which it flourished. If the collectivist movement is to be aborted, what must be done is also revealed.

Jans has been a guest on numerous nationally and regional broadcast radio programs. He is a weekly guest on a nationally broadcast radio program where he discusses collectivism and how it is impacting the United States, relating current happenings to the collectivist agenda.

Jans has spoken to numerous Republican Women’s groups and Tea Party groups across the nation.

Jan’s speaking approach is the same as his approach to writing, and that is to be direct and straight forward with no regard for the collectivist mandated approach of political correctness. Sam Adams said, “It does not take a majority to prevail… but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush- fires of freedom in the minds of men.” Setting brush-fires of freedom is the purpose.

The LCRWF leadership noted the organization is excited about bringing Don Jans to Lake County.

Event organizers said all are welcome at LCRWF luncheon meetings, both men and women.
