KELSEYVILLE — Kelseyville High School’s annual girls volleyball camp, which features instruction by Sonoma State University women’s head coach Bear Grassl, takes place July 22-25 at the school gym.

Camp A is for players entering the fifth through eighth grades as of the 2019-20 school year. Camp B is for players entering the ninth through 12th grades.

The sign-up fee for Camp A is $80 if you pay by July 1 or $90 after July 1. The sign-up fee for Camp B is $110 if you pay by July 1 or $120 if you pay after July 1. Camp hours are 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for Camp A each day. Camp B has morning (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) and afternoon (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.) sessions.

The goal of of the camp is to stimulate a love for the game by accelerating personal progress in all aspects of the game. Camp athletes will be assigned to ability-level specific groups. Each day the camp will end with controlled scrimmages, skills in teams, and game-like situations.

Grassl will be assisted by Kelseyville High School varisty coach Donelle McCallister and members of her staff.
