Lakeport Family Resource Center fundraiser on July 13.

Mark your calendar for a night of fascination and wonder as the very talented and professional Tausala Polynesia dancers come to Lake County to perform under the stars at Chacewater Winery. This Lake Family Resource Center Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, July 13, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will include a Kahlua Pork feast and all of the trimmings to be enjoyed along with this rousing performance.  On that night a trip for two to Hawaii (airfare included) will be given away to a lucky raffle prize winner. Only 200 tickets will be sold at $100 each. You may purchase yours at any of the following locations: Chacewater Winery, Steele Winery, A and H General Store, Shine Studio, Saw Shop Gallery Bistro or by calling 707-279-0563 Ext. 111. Don’t wait there are only 200 of them and they are going fast!

The Lakeport Family Resource Center has been supporting Lake County families for nearly 25 years.  Families of every shape and size, every color and religion, of every walk you can imagine, and some that you might not, have been through our doors and received counseling, education, encouragement, direction, and when necessary, a safe haven.

LFRC provides Early Head Start programs to teen mothers as well as children under the age of five to help get them both off on the right foot.  They offer a domestic violence shelter for both women and men, a 24 hour rape crisis hotline, child abuse prevention counseling, sexual health education and Nurturing Family Education in the home for families and caregivers because they have learned that some of the nicest, best educated and well employed people may not have had nurturing parents so were never taught how to be nurturing parents.

This is your chance to help make a difference and enjoy a magical night of entertainment with all of your friends and neighbors!  Tickets are $50 and may be purchased by calling 707-279-0563 ext. 111 or at lakefrc.org/events.
