July 10

8:58 a.m.: Officers took a report of sprinklers being stolen from the football field at Clear Lake High School.

11:13 a.m.: A warning was issued to the driver of a green Honda Civic that was seen doing donuts in the parking lot of Lakeport’s Library Park at Park Street.

11:15 a.m.: In Lakeport, a shirtless man who was reported to be walking around with a bat and a bottle of vodka, being belligerent, and screaming while walking in circles in the street was gone when officers arrived.

2:09 p.m.: A man was reported to be taking pictures of juvenile girls at Lakeport’s Library Park, but reportedly claimed he was taking pictures of mountains. He was gone on arrival.

July 12

2:16 p.m.: A man calling from a cell phone on North Forbes Street in Lakeportsaid he was making sure his phone could dial 911.

July 14

3:47 a.m.: Clearlake police made an arrest after receiving a hard-to-understand report of a possible hostage situation.

10:09 a.m. and 12:33 p.m.: In Clearlake, two reports were received of callers’ tires having been slashed during the night with suspects unknown.

3:05 p.m.: Officers made an arrest after receiving a call reporting that a tattooed woman with a pocket knife had stabbed the caller’s girlfriend in the hand on Lilac Avenue in Clearlake.

2:11 p.m.: An officer gave counsel after loud rap music with foul language was heard in the gazebo area of Clearlake’s Redbud Park.

10:58 p.m.: Police took note of reports of “loud hispanic music” near Hill Avenue and Hillcrest Avenue in Clearlake.

July 15

9:56 a.m.: After a caller reported that a woman was “hanging out” on a balcony at the recently burned Bel Air Apartments on Lakeport’s Main Street, officers responded but found no one there.

July 16

11:18 p.m.: On Polk Street in Lakeport, a caller reported someone was sending pictures of dead bodies to the caller’s cousin and was threatening to shoot her. Officers determined the claim was unfounded.
