LAKE COUNTY— Research shows that students who attend preschool do better in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The Lake County Office of Education is proud to offer preschools around the lake to our children who are three and four years old.

Our preschools are currently accepting applications.

The Lake County Office of Education Early Connections Preschool program is free to income-qualified families. Income ceilings were raised, effective July 1, 2019.

Each preschool offers 3-hour sessions. Some preschools offer scheduling options during the morning or afternoon. Participating children receive breakfast or a lunch/snack daily.

Early Connections Preschools are committed to providing children with a wide range of activities to choose from, while giving them the opportunity to participate in structured physical and social experiences.

The staff provide a safe, healthy, environment that children can enjoy, and parents will trust. Children follow a daily schedule, and learn through organized activities and supervised free-play.

With recent adjustments to income ceilings, more Lake County children will be able to attend Early Connections Preschool programs.
