GEYSERVILLE — Kai Young, Erick Espinoza and Blake Talmage all scored goals for Upper Lake in a 3-0 North Central League III boys soccer victory over Geyserville on Friday afternoon in Geyserville.
Goals by Young and Espinoza gave the Cougars a 2-0 halftime lead. Talmage’s goal in the second half provided a bit of insurance as Upper Lake secured its first victory of the season.
Team captain Pedro Alvarado assisted on the goals by Young and Talmage. Bryan Altimarano assisted on Espinoza’s goal.
The Cougars return home Wednesday to play Point Arena at 4 p.m. The Upper Lake girls follow at 5:45 p.m. with a game against Laytonville.
