UPPER LAKE — Upper Lake High School will be football central on Saturday as the Cougars celebrate their homecoming against the South Fork Cubs in a North Central League III game that kicks off beneath the lights at 6:30 p.m.
Prior to that, three Mendo-Lake Empire Junior Football League games take place between the host Northshore Junior Cougars and the visiting Westshore Junior Cardinals. The PeeWee game kicks off at 1 p.m. and is followed by the junior varsity game at 2:30 p.m. and the varsity game at 4 p.m.
Fans for both teams should be aware of the gate prices that will be charged. Prior to 4 p.m., the admission prices to the youth football games are $4 for general admission, $1 for ages 6-18, and children 5 and younger are fee.
Fans entering the gate after 4 p.m. will be charged the high school game price of $6 for general admission, $5 with a Upper Lake Boosters pass, $3 for senior citizens, $3 for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and free for children age 5 and younger.
Following the high school game, Upper Lake High School’s homecoming dance takes place at the school’s cafeteria.
