UPPER LAKE — Goals by Julian Cruz in the first half and Andy Hernandez and Victor Santana in the second half carried the Upper Lake Cougars to a 3-1 boys soccer win over Geyserville on Wednesday afternoon in North Central League III play at Upper Lake.

Upper Lake built a 3-0 lead before Geyserville broke up the shutout midway through the second half.

Hernandez and Jarron Santos registered assists for the Cougars, who beat Geyserville for the second time in league play.

The Cougars return to action Friday in Point Arena at 4:30 p.m.
