RIO LINDA — The Golden State Wrestling Club of Upper Lake opened a new season Sunday by sending seven of its team members to a tournament in Rio Linda.
Bella Fernandez went 2-0 to win her weight class. Second-place honors went to Silas Dancer (2-1) and Julian Fernandez (2-1) while third-place medals went to Marley Fernandez (3-1), Liam Walston (3-1) and D’Avian Horne (1-2).
Club members return to action Sunday in Folsom.
