Although a few holiday themed events have been cancelled or postponed due to weather, there are plenty still scheduled throughout the county. Saturday’s “Parade of Lights” is taking place on Main Street in Upper Lake starting at 6 p.m. Following the parade and tree lighting, children will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa at the Odd Fellows Hall. Also tonight at 6 p.m. kids can meet with Santa, enjoy refreshments and sing along with Bill Barrows and the Lower Lake player piano at the Lower Lake Schoolhouse Museum, 16435 Main Street in Lower Lake.
