LAKE COUNTY— 2019 Holiday food boxes are once again available to those in need. A cooperative undertaking including Lakeport Rotary, NCO Community Action, Lake County Hunger Task Force, Lake Family Resource Center, and the Lake County Record Bee, the boxes are traditionally distributed this month before the holidays.
These Holiday Boxes are the result of the funds generously donated locally in 2018 by folks of Lake County during November and December to either WestAmerica or Umpqua bank branches. The names of donors, and any dedications they might want will be published in the Lake County Record Bee. The banks are now accepting donations.
This week’s donors are:
- The Lakeport Women’s Civic Club in the amount of $150. The donation is made In memory of Mary Alice Glenn, Lynn Pefley, Barbara Miller, Jennifer Fletcher, Delfa Grigg, Jacqueline Hayes, Ethel Bean and Anita Swanson Speake.
- Anonymous donor in the amount of $300
- $100 in loving memory of Butch Jennings, dad.
- $500 in memory of “the love of my life” Brian Gray, (Lorrie Gray)
- $100 in memory of Dave Ettinger from Karen and Nan
