LAKE COUNTY— Donations for the Lake County Holiday Fund are still being accepted at any branch of West America Bank or Umpqua Bank. These donations are used to provide boxes of food for the holidays to families in need locally for the duration of the holiday season.
Cooperating agencies that make this program possible are Lakeport Rotary, NCO Community Action, Lake County Hunger Task Force, Lake Family Resource Center, and the Lake County Record-Bee. These donations are tax deductible.
The Lake County Record-Bee will continue to print the names of donors, if desired, and any dedications they wish to express.
Thus far, $3,435 has been raised through the generosity of community members.
Donors this week include:
- Katherine Lindsley ($50)
- Riviera Heights V.I.P. ($150)
- Robert Updike ($50)
