LAKEPORT — Westshore Little League in-person sign-ups take place Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at Lakeport Elementary School, 150 Lange St., in Lakeport.
Players must present a certified copy of their birth certificate and at least three documents showing residency or one document showing local school enrollment.
The registration fee is $100 per child. For families signing up more than one child, the fees are $100 for the first child, $90 for the second, $80 for the third child, and $70 for each additional child. After Feb. 2 the late registration fee is $125 per child.
Five divisions are offered — tee ball (ages 4-6), coach pitch (ages 6-8), minors (ages 7-10), majors (ages 10-12) and Juniors (ages 13-14).
Tryouts are scheduled for the weekends of Feb. 8-9 and Feb. 15-16. Players ages 7-14 must attend one tryout to be drafted by a team.
Opening day is March 28.
