LUCERNE – New Paradigm College (“NPC”) announced today a “Neighborfest” and gratitude party to be held at “The Lucerne Castle” Lobby, 3700 Country Club Drive, Lucerne, CA on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020 from 2 to 5 pm.
“We invite our Lucerne neighbors and friends to meet each other and celebrate the New Year,” said Denise Rushing, NPC Co-Founder and Executive Director. “Join us for food, fun and gathering with neighbors and friends.”
“Research has shown that the more connected neighbors are to each other, the stronger their resilience is after an emergency. The Neighborfest brings people together to build social connection in our neighborhoods. We hope this event will help to foster a more resilient Lucerne.”
Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn more about upcoming community offerings at NPC and community resilience. Guided tours of the Castle will be available.
The event is free of charge. For more information and to RSVP, or volunteer to help, visit: http://www.newparadigmcollege.org/neighborfest.
