
KELSEYVILLE — The second and final day of the 32nd annual Hoops Classic “A” Boys “Road to Crescent City” Tournament for middle school teams wraps up Saturday at the Kelseyville High School gym.
Hosted by Mountain Vista Middle School, the event is a qualifier for the 52nd annual Crescent City Jaycees Tournament on March 6-7. All of Friday’s opening-round games took place at the Mountain Vista Middle School gym. All of Saturday’s action takes place at the Kelseyville High gym beginning at 9 a.m.
This year’s eight-team bracket features Andros Karperos of Yuba City, Bidwell of Chico, Petaluma, Pomolita of Ukiah, Terrace of Lakeport, Washington of Cloverdale, Zane of Eureka, and host Mountain Vista.
A full snack bar is offered at the Kelseyville gym with a Saturday special of posole soup. Hot dogs, nachos and candy are also available.
Saturday’s admission prices are $5 for adults, $2 for seniors and $1 for students. Children age 5 and younger get in free.
The winning team will have its own engraved nameplate added to the perpetual trophy constructed by Davis Fabrication.
