Andrew Yang’s suggestion for presidential efficiency

Andrew Yang a Democrat who dropped out of the 2020 presidential race had an interesting idea that I could support. His suggestion was to make the salary for presidents be several million dollars a year with the caveat that excludes them from becoming a lobbyist after their term is up. This would guarantee that their service for the presidency would truly be beneficial to the county while in office and not their pocket books after their term was up. However I would take this idea a step further. I believe along with this idea the president should get a yearly bonus of several million dollars if the economy, as well as other issues, significantly improve.

The Democratic Party poses a real threat reader notes

The new coup disguised as the Democrat party poses a real, imminent threat to society. It’s globalist agenda, its grab for control of our inalienable rights; our courts, our culture, our congress, our schools, the media, our journalistic community, our social networks, our search engines, the movie and music industry; all have been infected by the dogma of tearing down our republic and replacing it and the constitution with a virus of hate and disdain for our American values and mores.

This is nothing less than a wanton takeover of our precious freedoms. They perpetrate violence on our police, our people, on anyone who would dare disagree with their views, targeting free-thinking individuals, to suppress them, to condemn them, to make them scared while the far left’s agents of fear like Antifa are free to commit acts of oppression and assault on those who express the right to believe differently than them. These merchants of mayhem. One can’t wear a Make America Great Again hat or go to a rally to support our president, without concern for their safety. A war is being waged on middle America.

Whether you like Donald Trump or don’t particularly care for him, this is not a time to vote personality. Electing a president is not a beauty pageant or congeniality contest. The office of commander and chief is reserved for the individual most capable of protecting our nation, of preserving our sovereignty, of leading our country and on every count, our current president is the engine driving our nation’s best interests.

Now is not the time to abandon ship and there is no one running to unseat our president who is worthy of replacing him. At every step of the way he has been met by obstruction since the day he took office. All five of Oregon’s seats in the United States House of Representatives are up for re-election in 2020. These seats are currently represented by four Democrats and one Republican. Both of Oregon’s senators are Democrat and up for reelection. If you turn out to vote this November, you can give our president a chance to get the work done he was elected to do. His dreams, his devotion, his passion for a strong, safe America are irrefutably patriotic. You may not like Donald Trump but regardless of how you may feel about him, his stalwart leadership has been good for America and now is not the time to relinquish his office to someone less capable.

I urge you to not listen to the snake oil salesmen who promise to deliver a better world than you now have if only we retire our president.  When their traveling puppet show comes to town, be sure to let them know that you see behind their wooden smiles. And we’re catching on to who is pulling their strings. Let’s not make this the United Socialist States of America.
