PETALUMA — Micah Dymer went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs as the Middletown High School junior varsity baseball team beat St. Vincent 8-5 in a non-league game called after six innings because of darkness Wednesday afternoon in Petaluma.
Jesse Young went 1-for-2, stole two bases and scored a run as the Mustangs improved to 4-1 on the season. Winning pitcher Wyatt Smith worked three innings without allowing a hit. He surrendered one unearned run and struck out two.
Middletown hosts Lower Lake in a non-league game Friday at 3:30 p.m.
