May 25:

11:33 a.m.: A home in Schindler, Clearlake Oaks was reportedly burglarized.

5:57 p.m.: A “simple battery” occurred on Buckingham Way, in Nice.

6:59 p.m.: A family disturbance reportedly occurred between W. State Highway 20 and Mid. Lake Road, in Upper Lake.

May 26:

12:57 a.m.: An arrest was made at Jules Resort on Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake after a call about a “fight in progress” according to the police logs. The caller said their boyfriend was acting violent.

06:11 a.m.: A warning was given to someone who was allegedly “living in [a] dumpster,” smoking around a propane tank. The caller asked for the person to be removed from the property at Davita Dialysis on Olympic Drive in Clearlake.

07:21 a.m.: A man alleged his girlfriend hit him in the head causing him to bleed at Clearlake. Dispatch heard the couple in a verbal argument before the call was disconnected.

8:59 a.m.: Animal abuse reportedly occurred on 9th street in Clearlake. Allegedly, a dog is being neglected and has been shot by a BB gun in the past.

09:04 a.m.: A caller reported that their brother arrived on their property even though he’s not supposed to be there. The brother claimed to have a hammer in his vehicle but the caller did not see any weapons. The reported incident took place on Boyles Avenue in Clearlake.

09:10 a.m.: A theft reportedly occurred at Water’s Edge Resort on East State Highway 20 in Nice.

10:23 a.m.: 2 kittens were dropped off at Animal Control on Old Highway 53.

10:48 a.m.: While picking up a trailer, a caller reported that a white man with a beard allegedly yelled at him and threw hand signs. The suspect was reportedly very aggressive and last seen in a blue Jeep in front of the property at Clearlake Resort on Old Highway 53.

3:00 p.m.: A “traffic complaint” was reported at Lakeshore Drive and Country Club Drive in Clearlake. Vehicles were reportedly speeding in excess of 50 miles per hour, with the speed limit being 20 miles per hour and cutting the double yellow line near the “old boat works.” Authorities were asked to conduct assertive traffic enforcement and collect statistics.
