LAKE COUNTY — The Bill Kearney for District 5 County Supervisor campaign will be hosting an On-Line Zoom Benefit Concert from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 to support Operation Tango Mike—a non-profit organization that sends care packages to U.S. troops stationed overseas.

Live music for the Benefit Concert will provided by Shaun Hornby and Dr. Mark of the famed LC Diamonds band.

“Operation Tango Mike would like to express our sincerest thanks to Bill Kearney for stepping up to help our men and women serving overseas,” said Ginny Craven of Kelseyville, who founded the organization in 2003.

A number of valuable items will be auctioned during the Benefit Concert to raise funds.  Among the items that have been donated for the Auction are:  a one-week vacation stay in Hawaii; a wine cave tasting and gourmet luncheon; a new shotgun; and a Flight Tour of Lake County with a hanger lunch.

The On-Line Zoom Benefit Concert is free to everyone, but registration is required. Anyone can register at BillKearneyForSupervisor.com.

“I am very proud to support the work of Operation Tango Mike,” stated Kearney.  “As a U.S. Army Veteran who served overseas during the Vietnam era, I remember just how important it was for our soldiers to receive encouragement and support from the folks back home.”

For more information, call Jennifer Strong at 349-0815 or email at jstrong95453@gmail.com.

All proceeds from this event will be evenly shared between Operation Tango Mike and the Kearney for Supervisor campaign.
