From the log notes of the Clearlake and Lakeport police departments:
June 8
3:10 a.m.: A white man wearing all black reportedly refused to leave a Speedway on Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake despite employees asking him to do so.
6:32 a.m.: A white woman “associated” with a grey Ford Escape was reportedly trying to break into a shed at Notts Liquors on Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake.
9:04 a.m.: A man at Southshore Mobile Home Park in Clearlake was found dead by the caller that went to visit him.
10:45 a.m.: A black man reportedly “took an arm load of merchandise” at a Clearlake grocery store on Olympic Drive. The manager of said store was with the suspect in front of the venue.
11:25 a.m.: A white man wearing black clothing and no shoes threated to assault a woman and her friend in Clearlake. The woman, who reported the alleged incident at a Big 5 on Dam Road, said she did not know him.
1:01 p.m.: A car at Clearlake’s Highlands Village Apartments was reportedly broken into. “The ignition [was] punched” and the manager has video of the incident.
1:50 p.m.: A man in front of a grocery store on Olympic Drive reportedly refused to leave. When he was asked to leave, he got in the face of the person calling about the alleged incident in Clearlake.
2:01 p.m.: A caller in Clearlake requested to speak with animal control over an “ongoing issue with [the] neighbor’s chickens.”
2:49 p.m.: A man reported that “his son and his girlfriend got into a fight last night” on Spruce Avenue in Clearlake. “She left on foot” and has gone missing since.
2:52 p.m.: A dark-haired white man was arrested for reportedly walking around Redbud Park on Lakeshore Drive “calling out racial slurs.” He was also allegedly tossing garbage. He was spotted near the park’s restrooms wearing white shorts and shoes.
June 9
8:09 a.m.: Propane tanks were reportedly stolen from a Bruno’s Food on Lakeport Boulevard. According to the log notes, people behind the Bruno’s, located in Lakeport, may have footage of the incident.
4:46 p.m.: A male suspect allegedly drove through the back of a Kmart quickly on South Main street in Lakeport. When asked to slow down he reportedly said he “was going to kill them all.”
7:16 p.m.: A caller said he received a death threat from a man at a Kmart on South Main Street in Lakeport, before the suspect “sped away in a black Nissan” vehicle.
