COBB — The 27th annual Lake County Junior Golf Championship field has been announced and the competition for boys and girls ages 10-17 tees off Wednesday morning at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain.
Twelve players will tee it up with county bragging rights up for grabs. Action begins when defending overall boys champion Austin Pritchard and Cory Holt tee off at 8 a.m. They will be followed by the pairings of Nathon Lopez, Gordo Ambriz and Miles Mattina at 8:10 a.m., Charles Johnson and Mickey Mullins at 8:20 a.m., Keana Alonso, Emma Mertle and Madison Mullins at 8:30 a.m., and Billy Witt and Walker Ryan at 8:44 a.m.

Cell phones and other electronic devices are also prohibited. There is a two-stroke penalty for slow play. A second offense for slow play results in disqualification.
Golfers should consult their marshals if they need a ruling on lies or course obstacles.
