UKIAH — A six-week girls basketball camp offered by the City of Ukiah opens Saturday at Vinewood Park, 1260 Elm St., in Ukiah.
There are still nine openings remaining for girls in the third through fifth grades. The girls meet from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturdays. If all the spots are not filled, boys may be allowed. A separate camp for girls in the sixth through eighth grades is already full, according to camp instructor Kat Escobedo, the women’s basketball head coach at Mendocino College and a former Upper Lake High School multi-sports star.
The cost is $75.
