LAKEPORT— Get your appetites ready. The annual Dine Out with Hospice returns to Lake County on Thursday, September 24. Dine Out with Hospice is a local tradition that brings restaurants and community members together to support Hospice Services of Lake County.
“This year in recognition of the tremendous past support of local restaurants we are encouraging our community to patronize our local restaurants either by dining in, dining outside or taking out meals,” says Hospice Services Community Relations Manager Beth Havrilla. Customers may dine at one of 23 participating restaurants during normal business hours with the option of donating to Hospice Services.
Donation envelopes will be located at each restaurant. Proceeds from this fourth annual event will support the Wings of Hope Bereavement program and special needs of Hospice patients.
“In past years, restaurants have been incredibly supportive of this fund/friend raiser and, in fact, Renee’s Café and Park Place have donated up to 50% of their sales and included a large tip. This year we want to see restaurants full and keep all of their sales,” says Havrilla. “We look forward to bringing friends and families together in support of a worthwhile cause while they enjoy their meals at one of our many great Lake County restaurant venues.”
Generous sponsorships by our community partners are making this event happen. They include major sponsor California Exterminators, ProCare, Sterling Mortgage, Empire Mortuary, Lake County Chamber of Commerce, and the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Participating restaurants will include Arti’s Café, Cowpoke Café, DJ’s Pizza, Danny’s Roadside BBQ, Gaslight Grill, Greenview Room, Jimmy’s Deli, Judy’s Junction, Juicy’s Pizza, Main St. Bar and Grill, Marcel’s French Bakery, O’Meara Bros Brewing, Park Place, Perry’s Deli, Red’s Skyroom, Renee’s Café, Riviera Hills, Saw Shop Public House, Stonefire Pizza, and Woody’s Cafe.
“Come join this amazing event, making this one of the most heartwarming meals you may have all year long.”
